The Lost Symbol

Finished reading The Lost Symbol.. It was really good. Really makes you think. I don't agree with the POV about the forefathers of the USA. They were racist, slave-owning, power hungry, syphilis giving, evil people. I don't claim them. The only thing cool about them is money and getting off work/school. I guess for white people they are forefathers. Not for me. You can spout this United Stated of America shit, but it's not united; not even today. Many of the same atrocities exist, but have morphed and are not as openly executed as they were.
